What is Dakine Grindz?
Pronounced dah-ka-ine, apart of the Hawaiian pidgin language, used as “that thing” or in reference to a subject that was discussed earlier. Grindz, also pidgin slang, usually meaning delicious food.
Put the two together and you are met with something that best describes us. We are straying away from the typical mainland Hawaiian BBQ and not quite your favorite auntie’s cooking either. Instead, we are bringing all parts of the Pacific Ocean together and add the SoCal love as the final ingredient. Learn more
